• General Manager Appointment

  A combination of growth and finding the right person has seen the appointment of Bevan Brown as General Manager here at Punch. Armed with the attributes and skills necessary to continue Punch's successes while reviewing and developing company procedures, system and processes, Bevan has taken over all day to day management and business operations. Working with our dedicated team on developing the business and building our reputation and brand, Bevan comes from a solid background in business management most recently, working in the commercial and sponsorship world of sport.

• Account Management Update

  Amanda (Mandi) Carter leaves us later this month all be it temporary pending the birth of her first child, we wish Mandi all the best for her journey into motherhood. Mandi hopes to return in the New Year. Taking over from Mandi is Jean Boyd, Jean comes to us with a background in marketing and communications. Having been National Marketing Executive for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Auckland for the past two years managing all aspects of their marketing, advertising and communications for what is a large real estate business specialising in multi platform commercial properties. Jean is an absolute professional with plenty of energy and flair hence we feel she will be an exciting addition to our team here at Punch. Supporting our account management team are our other two new recruits. Sales Administrator Tina van den Broek and Account Executive Sarah Boles.

• Unlimited Magazine

  New Zealand's leading-edge and inspirational business read is about to embark on an exciting new journey. Fairfax Media is relaunching Unlimited magazine as a bi-monthly publication with a bold new look from August 3. Moving to a bi-monthly frequency (six issues a year plus special issues) allows Unlimited's experienced editorial team more room in the magazine for in-depth features, while continuing to cover the New Zealand business scene with the analysis, depth and good storytelling the readers expect. And the new design and format allows familiar features of Unlimited in expanded sections, such as Reporter, Toolkit, Startup, Growth, Leadership and Life.

  MediaWorks - TV, owners of top rating free-to-air channels TV3 and C4, decided to award Punch Advertising with accreditation after reviewing clients, infrastructure and financial accounts.
